In the Summer of 1983 in Vienna, Austria, Oswald found himself a way of making money that seemed so much easier than working. He mugged old ladies. What could be easier than knocking down an eighty year old and snatching their purse?

Well, for Oswald it was all very easy, and he was making a decent profit from his actions. But unluckily for him the police were taking an interest in the crimes. Maybe he should have robbed the poor, as society never seems to give a fuck when the victims has no social standing. Anyway, the police took an interest following one night when Oswald got a little carried away.

On December 31, 1983, Oswald broke into the house of an old lady and gave her a pretty decent 'seeing too.' In fact it was such a good beating that she was found dead the next day by her neighbour. And Oswald had begun his life as a murderer.

And he continued hone his skills in this new career on the night of April 18, 1984. Franziska Spengler, 80, was at home alone when Oswald broke into her apartment. Not being prepared for such a meeting Oswald had to use the first thing that came to hand to silence the old lady, he picked up a pair of scissors and stuck them into Mrs. Spengler's chest rather forcibly. Not content that this was enough to keep the old lady quiet Oswald then went into the kitchen and found a carving knife. He used this to make certain that the old lady was well and truly dead.

But the murder had robbed him of some all his y and he felt tired, so, instead of going home for a nice sleep, he just pushed the body over to one side of the bed and lay down and took a nap next to it. I guess he was pretty tired because he spent the whole night in the apartment, and the next morning, he was woken up before he had the time to gather his thoughts, and was forced to leave in a bit of a hurry, leaving behind something pretty vital to his freedom.

Mrs. Spengler's body was found, and when police arrived they were very surprised to see that nothing much had been taken from the apartment. In fact a very large sum of money was in a drawer next to her bed. But as odd as this was it wasn't as strange as a wallet lying on the floor containing the ID of one Oswald Sibrol. I guess the cops felt pretty lucky?

And not too long after Oswald was picked up after trying to steal an old ladies handbag. Poor Oswald, he just couldn't stop himself could he?

Once in police custody he admitted to the two murders and the many old lady 'muggings' that he had carried out.

At his trial Oswald came up with one of the greatest excuses of all time. It wasn't his fault he killed the old ladies, his grandfather was to blame. You see, despite the fact that he was dead, Gottlieb Sibrol still liked the ladies, and, again even though he was dead, he still liked to shag around. So his spirit had called out to Oswald to "send him a few old ladies to enjoy himself with." Of course.

Unfortunately for Oswald this story didn't go down to well in court and he was sentenced to 20 years in jail on June 14, 1985.
