Charles Milles MANSON

Jury foreman Herman Tubick on March 30, 1971, said, "We were unanimous...society has been served."

Apprehended at Barker Ranch, in Death Valley, Inyo Co., CA along with other Family members.
Dianne became one of the prosecution's most important witnesses. She was a young 16 year
old girl who had come to live with the Manson family with the permission of her parents. She
had come from a broken home and took a lot of physical abuse from Manson. As a result of
her presence at the ranch she learned a lot about the murders from Leslie, Patricia, and
Manson. In this photo she is escorted from the court by policeman after testifying that she
also heard Watson's confession. She was eventually taken in by a family in Inyo and with
kind treatment was completely rehabilitated.

Paul Fitzgerald was appointed by Judge William Keene to represent Charles Manson on December 11,
1969. Brenda McCann was 18, at the time she was arrested at the Spahn Ranch raid on October 9,
1969. She was eventually released because it was decided that there was insufficient evidence to
convict her. She later returned to rejoin the Family at Spahn Ranch. Charles Manson tried to control
the trial proceedings by influencing Family members over whom he still had great influence.

Susan Atkins with her lawyer, District attorney, Richard Caballero. Richard Caballero was appointed
to represent Susan in the Gary Hineman murder case. Susan and Bobby Beausoleil has been sent
by Manson to Gary's house to get some money he had supposedly inherited. Gary had refused to
give them the money and after two days of staying with him, they killed him. Richard Caballero
also represented Susan on the Tate-LaBianca case.
