During her freshman and sophmore years at Monrovia High School, Leslie was one of the homecoming
princesses. Leslie was fourteen when her parents separated and divorced. She had an older brother
and sister. She had joined the Self-Realization Fellowship as a noviate nun with her boyfriend for
a short time, and lived in a commune for a few months, during which she met Bobby Beausoleil.
By the time she was nineteen Leslie had joined the Manson Family at Spahn Ranch.

Former cellmate of Susan Atkins. Roseanne Walker agreed to talk to Vincent Bugliosi, though
she wasn't very happy about it. She was a heavyset black girl who had been sent to Sybil
Brand on five drug-related charges. She recounted a conversation she had had with Susan
which clearly implicated her in the Tate/LaBianca murders.

Charles Lovett at the Spahn Ranch. Charles was a member of the Manson "family". He was involved in a
robbery at the Western Surplus Store along with six other family members on the night of Saturday,
August 21, 1971. The Manson family had planned to free Charles and other imprisoned family
members from jail. The robbery in which they stole about 140 guns was part of the plan.
